In extraordinary times we can create a sanctuary with community
FREE peer-to-peer emotional support for people working in service to CLIMATE SAFETY.
No prep, no advice, come as you are.
No prep, no advice, come as you are.
IT IS ALWAYS FREE TO JOIN OUR COMMUNITY
Join us in holding space for one another and the thoughts and emotions that we experience as part of living in a time of ecological loss and crisis. We welcome you to an hour and a half of presencing, listening, sharing, and self-expression. Come unprepared, come unsure, come unmotivated, arrive with expectations or without, come brave. Together, we can create a sanctuary, a refuge of love; a place for the sacred work of grieving, creating a community of care, and living in our interconnectedness.
We look forward to welcoming you into the circle for the first or tenth time.
Circle Participants Say...
"Yesterday’s experience was magical for me.
I am so grateful to participate in the circle.
Each circle experience makes me feel present, connected and positive,
and this feeling grows with each circle I join.
Thank you, Kady, for keeping the circle."

About this Event
Join our circle for FREE
Are you experiencing societal grief, distress, anxiety, trauma about global CLIMATE CHANGE?
Want to FEEL. SHARE. UNITE. ACT. with like minded others?
Our circle is hosted in service to those working on this topic who want to both offer and need support in these extraordinary times. Hosts are volunteers from environmental and social not-for-profits and small businesses. People who are feeling the enormity of this crisis and the inadequacy of the collective response. Together we are creating a sanctuary and new climate 'rituals' that help build personal resilience so we are able to continue to face the ongoing threats to our shared sustainable future.
What to expect at the Climate Sanctuary;
The open and exploratory dialogue is enveloped in a restorative opening and closing of the circle. We have prompts, topics and activities to get things going as needed, including a combination of poem - prayer - music - moment of silence - movement - a reading…
Please note our circle does not provide clinical advice.

What to expect at the Climate Sanctuary;
- No prep, no advice, come as you are.
- Our circle is not recorded - turning video on is encouraged.
- We are creating a safe meeting place together. This includes: being yourself, listening, sharing, connecting, non-judgement, inclusivity, patience, and speaking in the first person (e.g. 'I' statements).
- We do not focus on providing solutions, answers or advice.
- This work is never 'done' and we won't always get to resolve in our time together.
- We do not provide clinical support (we can direct people to resources).
- We make room for whatever emotions bubble up (e.g. tears, anger, humour…love).
